STEVE KIRWAN

Having over 80 recordings to his credit, Steve  has shared the studio with artists such as Rosemary Clooney, Jack Sheldon, and EMI recording artist Bebu Selvetti. His voice has been featured as leading characters on the soundtracks of THE MAHARAJAH (with the Israel Philharmonic), by Walter Scharf ("Ben") and Arthur Hamilton ("Cry Me A River"); ABE, by Broadway composer Michael J. Lewis (CYRANO); and KENSINGTON GARDENS, by Scott Guy and Ken Neufeld. A featured soloist with the twice Grammy-nominated LA Jazz Choir, he worked as a session singer for Hal Leonard Publishing and recorded Rosemary Clooney's 1990 album release on the Concord Jazz label.

He has performed in concert with Gary  Morris, Linda Ronstadt, Lucie Arnaz and Steve Allen. On television, Steve sang with Frank Sinatra Jr. in "Red Sails in the Sunset" and with Positive Music recording artist, Ken Navarro in "Ventura Highway" both for TelMax Films. He sang and appeared in the NBC television mini-series "The Judds" and has sang on many regional and national commercials promoting everything from banks and casinos to Mt. Dew. He can be seen singing in the feature film, ANYWHERE BUT HERE starring Susan Sarandon. Steve was a featured soloist with the world-renowned Roger Wagner Chorale on their 1992 & 1994 tours of Japan and South Korea and with Rosemary Clooney and the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl.

Theatergoers in LA have seen him play the leading role of Ruven Malter in the World Premiere of Charles Fox ("Killing Me Softly") and Hal  David's ("Raindrops Keep Fallin' On My Head") musical THE CHOSEN, FALSETTOS (Marvin) at the Conejo Players Theatre, INTO THE WOODS (Wolf/Cinderella's Prince) at the Whittier Center Theatre, THE COSMIC PULL (Roger) at the West End Playhouse, GODSPELL (Thomas Aquinas) at the Whitefire Theatre, EVERYTHING'S COMING UP HITS at Center Stage, CAMELOT (starring Noel Harrison) with California Music Theatre, and the long-running, critically acclaimed  BROADWAY SINGS OUT! at the West End Playhouse.
